About us

I became interested in chiropractic already as a young child in South Africa. My father was a chiropractor in Cape Town and used to treat acute patients on Sunday mornings. Chiropractic was my father’s passion, he was well known in South Africa and had good contact with the chiropractic leaders around the world. Often I would ask him if I could go with to the clinic.

I was always amazed to see patients coming in with a lot of pain and leaving with a lot less pain. My father achieved this by treating his patients with his hands, no need for medication or complex medical machines. Seeing all this, the  interest and passion for chiropractic was soon passed on from  father to son. My name is Arie van Beest, married to Christiane Vogt and together we have set up and developed the Chiropractisch Centrum voor Rug & Nek.

From America to Limburg

Following my chiropractic education in the United States,  I started my own chiropractic clinic in the province of Limburg in 1987. I have always wanted to show the whole of The Netherlands what a wonderful profession chiropractic is and how relatively quickly we can get results. An important aspect of this is that the patient should be treated promptly, no long waiting times. If you have pain now, you should be treated now.

Our organisation has found itself an important niche in the healthcare system. We are the only clinic in the south of the Netherlands which has all the necessary diagnostic tools and treatment modalities within its own clinic setting. This makes the diagnosis and treatment of the patient efficient and effective. Our passion is always to strive to do better. You can imagine what a wonderful work it is to help people whom often have had years of pain, relieving their pain and improving their quality of life.  We are however realistic, we cannot help absolutely everyone and so  strive to work with other health disciplines where needed.
